Day 5: Part 2

After our trip from the gardens and water fall, it was time to meet Tom Kenny aka SpongeBob Squarepants. I have to say that the entire trip we have either been just about last in line for an autograph or just plain missed one from someone. I wasn't going to let this guy get by without Sam meeting his all time favorite cartoon man!! Tom, was scheduled to appear for the meet and greet at 3:30pm and I (Mom) was going to see that Sam was the first one in line. Guess what she was - I got their at the meet and greet at 2:10 and sat on the floor waiting in line. There were 2 guys who just showed up to rope up the area for a nice straight line.

I wasn't alone for long - as by passers kept asking me what was I standing in line for, once I told them they got in line. It didn't take long to form a long line of about 100 people in just about 20 minutes.

Tom, showed up right on time and as he approached us he came walking towards us giving us high 5's - I was a kid at that point with both hands in the air as I received 2 high 5's, it was just incredible.

So Sam and I got our chance first to meet him. He was just the nicest, sweetest and funniest guys. Sam was afraid to ask him to do his spongebob laugh, it didn't take me but a 1/2 of second to ask him, he said Sam being your my first guy in line I will do that just for you. He gave Sam a choice of what he wanted signed and so Sam choose the 8x8 sheet with SpongeBob on it, then ofcourse I ask him to sign Sam's Best Day Ever CD we brought and he thanked Sam so much for buying it.
