Magazine Cover
I have been working on printing out some of my favorite pictures of Sam for the scrapbook I'm making him. I came across a magazine cover in one of my programs, isn't it cute? I really like the one of just Sam!

Pictures we bought on the cruise
Here are just a few of the pictures we purchased during our cruise. I had to scan them first, so I'm sorry there not with the post they belong with.
These pictures were taken in Cozumel, Mexico on Tuesday the 12th of Aug. I have to say that these 2 pictures are our favorite aside what Sam did. It's always been his dream to swim and play with dolphins. Todd and I did an excursion with dolphins back in 2005 and it was nothing like this. We just got to touch and pretty much feel a dolphin. Swimming on their bellies, hugging them and doing a boggie board with them was so worth it.

look at him ride the belly of a DOLPHIN - Sam LOVED it and had a BLAST

This one was taken at Dunn's River Falls in Ocho Rios Jamaica

These are the only 2 pictures we purchased on the cruise.

Home for 2 days now
Now that it took me 2 days to post and I'm not kidding, my right arm hurts from this little flat laptop computer. I wanted to give my input on this Nickelodeon first time ever cruise.
Considering there were more children then ever seen on a cruise ship, it was GREAT!!
We got to the port of Miami on Sunday morning early OK around 10:30am and boarding doesn't start till 1pm. They started boarding us at around 11:30a.
Our first day after we got on the ship we headed right straight to the win jammers for some lunch. And wouldn't you know it Todd lost his good under water camera that we were going to use for the dolphin excursion. He racked his brains trying to figure out what happened to it and where he last had it.
Well after being missing for a full day, he remembered where he had it last. It was at the win jammers during lunch, my thought was oh my god, it's gone now and he was so up set with himself. We were thinking if anything maybe the guy who was in charge of that table took it and put it away. So we ended up at the pursers desk and wouldn't you know it they had his camera.
But other then that, the cruise was great. We met some really nice people as always on it. I have to say of all the kids on board the teenager were the worst of all. This is a brand new ship and those steal elevator doors had some bangs in it you wouldn't believe. We saw on an elevator and boy with 2 security guards taking him to his parents then about and hour later we saw him running down the stairs like a bat out of hell making noise and clowning around. The teen aged kids had no respect for the ship at all.
We met a couple with a 3 yr old little girl from China - she almost looked like she was about 18 months and cute as a bottom, she was a special needs little girl and her LID was Aug of 2005 - that's the 2nd person I know now with a LID on Aug 2005 a year before us. The couple is going back to china for their 2nd SN daughter in Jan of 09.
We met a great single lady Rita with a 9 yr old boy name AJ cute kid. And they are from Virgina. Then a lady Lisa and her daughter Tyler (11) from Reno - the 4 of them did the same excursion we did with the dolphins. I'm going to be making them both a mini DVD of the pictures we took of them with the dolphins. And we also met a couple Kevin and Katie from Connecticut with a little boy (4)name Tyler, so that was 2 Tylers we met. They have family in North Port Fl about 20 minutes from us, so the next time they come for a visit they will give us a call and we will hook up.
During one of the shows we saw at night, can't remember what show that was...oh now It just hit me, it was a never before seen SpongBob episode called GOO GOO GAS. I was asking Sam a question about how much fun he was having and there was a lady sitting directly in front of me said did you get one of these. I looked as she handed me a black and white photo of Sam and Freddie from iCarly, beautiful photo I may add, I showed it to Todd and Sam and handed it back to her, she said oh you can have it, I said really thank you so much. She said she was Nathan's manager and also gave me a business card and said if you're ever in LA give her a call. After we left the theatre we saw Nathan, Sam said hi to him he said hi back and noticed Sam had a pic of him in his hand and said to Sam hey that's not signed let me sign that for you and took it from Sam and gave it back....you should have seen the look on Sam's face.
It was a wonderful cruise all the way around, very costly I may add but it's a once in a life time opportunity for Sam and so cost didn't matter, it was his gift. It was such a success that they have decided (Royal Caribbean and Nickelodeon) to do this cruise next year. We on the other hand won't be doing this trip because we're hoping to be in China during that time next year.
When we got home I have to say this - I was afraid to get back on my Wii Fit as I thought I gained at least 5 pounds, to my surprise I put on .9 not even a pound. On the other hand my dear Mother put on 5.1 pounds not good and Sam added an extra 4.6 pounds.
So I hope everyone enjoyed our pictures of our cruise and until next time.
Oops one more thing - we made it threw TS Fay!!

Day 7
A full day at sea...
Well this is our last night on the cruise. We're sad that it's coming to an end, but I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed. There was all kinds of things yet still going on just about 24/7 - but being a family cruise there was hardly a person out past 11pm.
Today Todd and Sam walked around and got a last feel on things, we did a little bit more shopping being it's the last day. We waited to buy things so that we can get things at just about 1/2 price.
They had a Farewell Show as they do on all cruises and this was kind of cute. It was different from what we're use too, but that's OK. We had all the characters and The Nick 6 kids.
The first pic is what I had for breakfast everyday. It consists of cottage cheese, fruits, cheerios, skim milk, hot tea and grits. It's a buffet style breakfast at win jammers every morning and I know how buffets can be, I was being good.
Now in order to hear the videos, you must mute the muisc on the bottom of the page.

Before I started up with our packing, we had to take a walk to the front of the ship, we haven't been there yet and we wanted to see it. It felt and looked like a Titnic thing. They even had a helicoper pad.

Day 6
We're in Labadee, Haiti
This is our 2nd time here in Labadee as we were here in 2006 - so therefore we really had nothing planned except going down a 50' water slide.
Just after we turned the corner after getting off the tender boat, wouldn't you know it we spotted the biggest pineapple under the sea, guess who's pineapple it was? If, you guess SpongeBob....ding ding ding you're right. It was an inflatable bounce house is what is was.
We couldn't find the slide then we located in a totally different area and loaded with people. So we decided to let Sam go ahead and play in the water park, which cost the last time and it was free this time. Then we did some swimming at the beach. Walked around and took some beautiful pictures. We stayed completely and far away from the vendors there - they don't know how to take no for an answer.
Oh gosh that just reminded me of something when we were in Jamaica - all I wanted from Jamaica was a beach towel, because we have towels from all the other places. I saw this lady, ok oops she saw me and grabbed my arm and ask me to come to her shop. I ask her if she had beach towels, and ask how much she wanted for them. People really must think Americans are stupid. She wanted to sell me a towel for $30. dolla is what she said. I just laughed and said trying to speak in their tone, but I said 30 dolla too much money, she said how much you pay, I said I pay $10. dolla she said no not much money, I said yes lots of money. Then she said how bout $20. dolla I said no she said how much money you pay, I said I pay again $10. dolla, she said common - I say no too much money and about walked away, she said Ma how bout $15. I said OK how bout $10 she said OK ma. I got my towel for $10. because that's what I can pay in the US of A. There was another lady with us and her daughter and she just laughed so hard and congratulations to me for getting my beach towel for only $10. dolla. Gosh we bought a picture of us in the water falls for $8.00 which was to high for a 5x7 pic and had the nerve to say this picture I sell to you for $8.00 dolla and you can leave a tip....a tip I thought. Yeah I did I gave her a $8.00 tip and a Thank you.

This Sam and AJ playing together - he's a new friend of Sam's. I met Rita which is AJ's Mom and we all became friends. I have already emailed them to see how their doing. They live in North Carolina.

Day 6: Part 2
After a fun day at the beach in Labadee - we headed back to the ship for lunch. Their were all kinds of things going on that night on the ship and it's hard to pick and choose what you want to see and do. So, we met Rita and AJ in Studio B which was also where the skating rink was. They were doing a Family Disco. Of course Todd, Sam and AJ were not about to dance in front of all those people that Rita and I got on the dance floor only to have The Case of Dance on Sunset, the Nick 6 show us a few of their steps. Rita and I looked at each other and said NO WAY I can do that. But with a few easy lessions we picked it up and had a blast.
Todd has most of the action on Video - which has not been downloaded as of yet. I'm still working off the laptop.
Towards the end of the pictures comes more text on other things going on.

After the family disco - we ended up in the Aracadia Theatre for the Premier movie of Gym Teacher staring Nathan Kress aka Freddie of iCarly. It's hasn't been on television yet so we were the first ones to see the movie. Sam, started to fall a sleep so we didn't get to see the whole show.
