Daytona, day 2

After a hard night sleep on a horrible mattress, Sam woke up and the first thing out of his mouth is - "can we go to the beach"...Todd and I just laughed. So we got dressed and headed to the beach, yes we were at the beach before 8am. We stayed for about an hour tops, got a few more pictures and then showered once again and headed to Orlando for about an hour or two. I was ready for home, but Todd wanted to stop by Downtown Disney.

After we arrived at DD - the first place we wanted to see or visit was the new T-rex shop/diner. That place was really neat, I loved it - to bad we have already eaten or we would have there, I guess the next time over we will. Got a few pictures inside there and then headed home.

One thing I hate about going over to Orlando or even being on I4 - is the traffic. Traffic is bad anywhere you go, but I4 scares the hell out of me. Ok, it wasn't as bad coming back as it was going over.

Now on I75 - the last picture is what we seen. It was at mile marker 177 - we were 7 miles from our exit...gosh, dang bang I said. And the results of an accident aren't very pretty looking, why is it people think they need to FLY like an airplane on the roads?

Daytona, Fl

Well, it's been awhile since we took a nice little get away. We decided to head over to Daytona this weekend. It wasn't for anything special - just a get away. We had nothing planned but to go to the beach and hang out. Nothing special planned at all.

Sam is killing some time by playing his Wii - gosh we just love that Wii. I will say that I am completely addicted to that Wii and Animal Crossing City Folk.

By the time we got there, we checked into our room and headed right to the beach. Of course I wasn't going to get in - I hate the feeling of sand all over my body and you never know what's in the water? I can't help to think it's like a gaint toilet we're stepping into....yuk!

Butt Sam and Todd love it!! I guess if the water was a little bit on the clear side I would have gotten in. Besides that i'm glad I didn't get in - if you look at picture 4 you can tell right off at just how COLD that water was. Todd, had a hard time getting in it but did it for Sam.

After a few hours of fun and sun, Sam wanted pizza. Our room card was advertising Papa John's pizza so that was dinner. We were going to go to the room and order it, but we were already out and about and we came across Papa John's ourselves. So, we went in and ordered. Sitting there just after we placed out order, the Manager came over and ask Sam if he wanted to make his own pizza, and there you go - you can tell by the pictures what Sam decided to do. He even gave Sam a hat!!

Funny thing - that's the 2nd time Sam got to make his own pizza. Just about 3 weeks ago heading to Domino's the manager there also let Sam make his own pizza.
